Owen concentrates on providing general banking, finance and insolvency
advice and handling transactions involving secured and unsecured lending,
structured finance and trade finance in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, he also advises in relation
to foreign direct investment in Mainland China.
Having received his LLB (Hons) from the City University of Hong Kong in
1993 and trained in Hong Kong and London, Owen qualified as a Hong Kong
solicitor in 1996 and as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2006. He
became a partner of SHL in 2005.
He has been identified as a leading individual by Chambers Asia 2008 in
Banking & Finance: General Banking (Hong Kong) and Banking & Finance:
Hong Kong-based Experts (China).
Owen is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
Owen is a keen sportsman and is an active supporter of Hong Kong Oxfam
Trailwalker.
