About the summer student scheme We appreciate the importance of the choice of law firm for your training and we aim, therefore, to provide every opportunity for you to find out about Stephenson Harwood. In order to help students gain first-hand experience of our firm, we organise a summer student scheme for 2nd last year law undergraduates or others who are looking for a trainee contract to start two years after the summer placement. During the two to four weeks' placement, you will observe our lawyers in practice. We run our summer internship scheme from June to September in each year and generally accept applications on a rolling basis between February and March of the same year. We will only consider students who are able to start a training contract in March or September of the year which is two years after the internship year.
